When the use of LSR also began to be applied to the manufacture of products for medium and high voltage technology, 2KM Mucomac pushed ahead with the development of machines with special requirements. Unlike the familiar LSR injection moulding, the article volumes are many times larger and thicker-walled. There are also often additional requirements to be met that necessitate a different machine technology. 2KM Mucomac has developed special dosing machines with higher output rates that can also produce different filling profiles. As the components are often much larger, it is not possible to use classic LIM machines. 2KM Mucomac has therefore also developed separate clamping units in which the moulds are filled and vulcanised directly.
